SEAL, the penile clamp for male stress incontinence
A soft, translucent silicone penile clamp for incontinence that works like an external sphincter. For men with light to moderate leakage when they cough, lift something or play sport.
The principle
How SEAL stops leaks
When you exert yourself, pressure in the abdomen pushes urine outwards. When the sphincter is weakened, after prostate surgery, with age or following a spinal cord injury, it can no longer hold it back on its own. SEAL helps it from the outside.
Placed at the base of the penis, the clamp applies flat pressure to the urethra. This pressure closes the channel during exertion, without cutting off blood flow the way a tourniquet would. Its rounded edges avoid pressure points that irritate the skin.
Its shape was developed with partner patients and validated by computer stress simulation, then through many prototypes. The concept is patented.
Indications
Is SEAL right for you?
SEAL is designed for moderate stress urinary incontinence, level 1 to 2. It does not treat other forms of incontinence.
Indicated for
- stress leakage after a prostatectomy
- age-related stress leakage
- leakage during intensive sport
- stress leakage related to a spinal cord injury, provided skin sensation is intact
Contraindicated in case of
- overactive bladder
- urge incontinence (sudden urges to pass urine)
- impaired skin sensation
- cognitive impairment
Do not use while sleeping.
If your leakage is recent, getting worse, or if you have blood in your urine, see your doctor first. Your urologist or physiotherapist can also tell you whether a penile clamp is right for your situation.

Size and fit
Getting the position right from day one
SEAL comes in one size: the soft silicone opens and adapts to each person's body shape. For the best result, place it horizontally at the base of the penis, then check that it stops leaks without being painful.
- Open the slit wide by squeezing both ends. Using both hands can help at first.
- Wear close-fitting briefs or boxers: they hold the clamp in place.
- Move it roughly every 3 hours, when you pass urine.
- At the slightest discomfort or redness, take it off and let your skin rest.

Your questions about the SEAL clamp
Does the SEAL clamp hurt?
No, it shouldn't. SEAL applies flat, evenly spread pressure: enough to stop leakage on exertion without cutting off circulation. Feeling that something is there is normal for the first few days. If you feel discomfort or pain, or if redness appears, remove the clamp and wait until your skin looks normal again before putting it back on.
How long can I wear it?
SEAL is worn during the day. Move it regularly along the penis, for example every 3 hours when you pass urine, so that the same area is not always compressed. Do not wear it while sleeping.
Which size should I choose?
SEAL comes in one size. Its opening has a circumference of 12 cm and the soft silicone adapts to different body shapes. If you are unsure before buying, email us at contact@yoog.fr and we will reply in complete confidence.
I can't get it on. What should I do?
Squeeze both side ends firmly between your thumb and index finger to open the central slit wide. Many users find it easier to open the clamp with both hands at first. Place it horizontally at the base of the penis, then let go. Close-fitting briefs or boxers help keep the clamp in place during the day.
Is SEAL suitable after a prostatectomy?
Yes. SEAL is designed for moderate stress leakage (level 1 to 2), which is common after prostate surgery. Ask your urologist or physiotherapist for advice: the clamp can complement pelvic floor rehabilitation, but it does not replace it. See also: urinary incontinence after prostatectomy.
Can I play sport with SEAL?
Yes. SEAL was designed to let you get back to your activities, sport included, without worrying about leaks. As at any other time, keep an eye on your skin and move the clamp regularly.
How do I clean the clamp?
Every day, with warm water and soap, then dry it. Don't use detergents or harsh products. Because SEAL is a single piece with no foam or hinge, it doesn't trap moisture.
How is it different from other penile clamps?
